This
level is designed to introduce students to the sport
of gymnastics. Gymnasts work on all of the Olympic
events and tumble trak. Classes are 60 min. and
students have the option of taking 1 or 2 classes
per week. Level 1 gymnasts compete in one home "fun
meet" held in June. |

Level
2 gymnasts are continuing to work on basic skills,
strength, and flexibility. Classes are 60 or 90
min. and gymnasts can take either 1 or 2 classes
per week (2 is strongly recommended to prepare for
the next level). They compete in one home "fun
meet" in June. |

and are familiar with learning routines. Classes
are 90 min. and gymnasts are require to take at

of adding a dance class to their schedule. They
compete in 2 home meets each year held in January

4 gymnasts are working on intermediate and advanced
skills. Classes are 90 min. and gymnasts are required
to take 2 classes per week and a dance
class. They compete in 2 home meets each
year held in January and June. This level is preparing
to compete in away meets on a local and regional

Level
5 is the first level where our gymnasts begin
to compete in away meets with optional routines.
Gymnasts are required to take 3 two hour classes
per week and a dance class. They
compete in 2 away meets and 2 home meets each
year held and can qualify for regional competitions
as well. (AAU Jr. Novice Level)

6 gymnasts are heavily involved in competitions
throughout the year. They are required to take 3
three hour classes per week and a dance class. They
can qualify for regional and national competitions,
so travel may be required. (AAU Novice and Intermediate
Levels). |
